Where is SUMMER?

I hope everyone is out there hiking during this summer weather, for I haven't heard about it on this website.

I know yesterday I hiked the Bissel, Old Baldy, and White Iris trail's and didnt see anyone of you out there. It was a bit damp, and felt like early June with the fog and mist, but it was nice to be not working at my regular job, and out clearing trail, at least what I could do with what I had.

This is new wilderness, so it will take a while for us to adjust, especially those who have to have a machine to propel them on there journey. So you with machinery, stay off our trails, and stick to the roads or areas that are designated for motorized travel. I will not be responsible for what happens when I meet a motorized vehicle on a trail, I will at the least let my dog have his way with you before I determine what I will do with you.

I hiked the Bissell, Old Baldy and White Iris trails last Wednesday during one of those misty, drippy, foggy days we seem to be have too much of here lately. The weather didn't really bother me as much as the OHV use of the bottom of the Bissell trail.

This trail doesn't even have a sign to tell you that a trail exists, let alone to say that the area is now a wilderness area. But some cerebral challenged, too lazy to hike,  sorry to say is a member of the human race, feels free to drive his quad up a trail in a wilderness area. My the sound of your quad overpower the sound of that snag that  is now falling your way.
