One of the trails is known for it's abundance of White Iris flowers that grace it's path.
OK, so I did a little searching, and I'll guess it is the 502-A trail where it meets the 502 trail (Old Baldy)?

You are correct. The double tree in the picture had a rock stuck in it at the junction of 502 & 502-A. Not sure who placed it there, but it was interesting enough for me to take a picture of it.
So it is now your turn to stump us.
I've only done Old Baldy once, and I can't say I remember that junction. I do remember one trail junction which I think was the Old Bissell trail. I'll do some noodling and post in a while.
That was an interesting tidbit that I didn't know about the iris.
OK, I found one. This one is a current district trail in Bull of the Woods wilderness.

Is that a tin roof on an old outhouse in the lower righthand corner?
