Its not Timothy lake is it? I'm not sure there are any trail around that lake, but it is one of the only larger lakes....
Okay, I'll tell. It's Breitenbush Lake. The last picture I showed was from the one time I walked most of the way around the lake, looking for a view of Jefferson. Since then the Warm Springs have closed off the lake on that side to non-tribal members. The first picture I posted was from a connector trail between the PCT and the campground. The PCT mostly avoids the marshy areas near the lake but the connector skirts right through them. So it might not actually be on one of the district trails, and if that isn't how the game works, I apologize.
I'll post a different trail now, since nobody got that one. This one should be much easier. It's definitely in the district. It's not in a wilderness area.

Timothy Lake has a great trail around it. 12-13 miles depending on what your source is. Mostly flat, nice views most of the time, does go right through campsites occasionally. Done it a couple times.

I still can't figure if Breitenbush is ours or theirs. I like the shelters there but I suspect they'll be gone soon. One thing I noticed when last there is that the water line while broke was still running. A beautiful place.
The new picture. Looks kinda like high piss fir country so I'd say it's Old Baldy? West end.

Breitenbush Lake is a beautiful place but one that kind of is in no-man's land. The Warm Springs claim most of the lake (more like all of it) to be tribal land but allow camping at their campground. The district border as best I can tell is on the far west end of the lake, with the PCT trailhead just barely on federal land.
As far as the new picture, think further south. I've never been to Old Baldy and need to get up there sometime this summer.
Would that be the Fish Creek Mtn Trail?
