Oh Boy! Laugh  That's going to make it more difficult. How big is the water it's near?

Was this apparent camp site ever named on any of the older maps?

I'm not sure, but I don't believe so.  It looks like it was a rather "long term" camp - I'm wondering if it was used by trail builders or something.

It does show up on some maps from the 50s and 60s, both FS and USGS.

After your comment, I decided to go look, and I think I see the camp you are talking about .  It looks in pretty much the correct location.  I'm surprised it is on maps that late - it looks like that camp should be older than that.  Late 50's through the late 60's maps show it.

Kirk, to answer your question, the water feature is "big" - but maybe not in the way you are thinking.

OK, I guess it wasn't as hard as I thought.  I don't know who gets the prize.  I'll let you guys flip for it.
