Okay, here's a picture taken on a trail in the district. For some of you, the picture may jog your memory and you won't need any other clue than this picture:

That's what I was thinking too.  Not too far from this cut log was another that had "07" cut into it.

Here's another clue: one end of this trail is near a river and the other is near a ridge.
