Bingo! I call it the Upper Clackamas River Trail, not to confuse it with the trail between Fish Creek and Indian Henry. There is more left of the upper trail due to the road wiping out most of the lower trail. I had only been on that trail once about 4 years ago, but there were blazes most of the time. The tread is a lot narrower and fainter then the lower one which was a more like a highway. There is more of the trail further up river and that dotted "way trail" is there also, but not the ridge as shown on the map.
Brian, your turn to post something.

Abandoned trail in district, not CST
That looks like so many abandoned trails in our district when you first come upon them, I hope it looks better since you discovered it. So is this trail in one of the wilderness areas in our district?
Don
Not in a wilderness, the name of the trail means 'to go astray'
Wow, I go away for a day and the forum goes crazy!!!!
I was thinking Don's trail was on the upper Clackamas River. Some day I need to hike that - maybe this winter.
I have to excuse myself from Brian's photo, for I know exactly where it is. I was with him when he took the photo. But I have to say it was a cool find....
