To help speed things along I'm giving another clue. It is one of a dozen or so abandoned trails on this portion of the '38 map.

'Burnt' granite is nearby:) OK I was gonna guess Switch Creek this morning but got side tracked.

It's not the Switch Creek Trail, but you are on the right side of the river.
