I fixed your "boxing in", and took a look at my photos - Dec 26th, 2009 was the day you showed it to me.  Hard to believe that was over 4 years ago!

You're right in saying that it's a creek, but it's not that one.  Actually, I don't think this creek has a name. It does feed into a named creek, which is a fork.

I think it's been abandoned by the Forest Service, but I wouldn't consider it abandoned by TA.
