Boy I'm stumped. Is it near the Fanton Trail? That TH has beer and partying near it

You are getting closer.  The weird part about those "trail markers" (beer cans) is that where they are isn't really close to a road.  It is right in the middle of the trail at least a half mile or more from a road.

Wait, White Iris. That trail is faint, and goes thru a clear cut. I don't think it gets hiked much. I've never hiked it due to it basically connecting roads. 

There's a surprising amount of trails over in that area.

We have a winner!

Those cans are very near the point where the trail takes a hard right (west) turn.  I missed that turn twice before finally figuring out where the trail went.  Just past that point this tree was down with this odd trail marker.
