No it's not the Shining Lake Trail.

Here's another clue: it is a connector trail and it isn't in the Roaring River Wilderness.

By connector trail do you mean it has no real trailhead, but simply connects two other trails?  That is what I think of when I hear connector trail.  I was thinking it looked like that might be Pansy Lake, but that isn't a connector trail.

That is what I call a connector trail. It isn't the Pansy Lake Trail either.
