Not the Rho Creek trail, but you are thinking correctly. This trail is farther north and this creek follows the trail closer, at least for parts of the trail.
Oh, and by the way, I've never been lost.....I've temporarily not known where I was for a short time, but never lost....

How about Eagle Creek Trail #501? It's definitely north of there and along a creek.

Could it be Old Baldy, between 4614 road and Squaw Mtn?

I meant to say the Fanton Trail. I have yet to hike that segment from where the Fanton Trail connects with Old Baldy and west to the 4614 in a saddle on the ridge, where the new wilderness boundary comes in.
