Seeing how nobody seems to be interested in the posting I put up for "what trail am I on", but instead just talking about the huckleberry situation, I am going to answer it myself. I am headed out on vacation and didn't want to leave this hanging. The trail in question is an abandoned one that I don't know what they call it, or what number it may  have had, but it came up from the Clackamas and went north of Sisi Butte and tied into the Skyline Road or trail. The springs it goes by near the Skyline Road is the Bear Skull Springs. Like I had mentioned there was only a couple of hundred yards of the trail in an old growth forest section sandwiched between 2 clearcuts. The huckleberries seemed pretty good in this area. The spring is maybe 20 feet off the trail.

Get out there and hike and explore before our summer is gone.
