Yes, it's in the BOW, but it's not the Schreiner Peak trail.

That's not it, but I think you can see the Bull of the Woods lookout tower from where this photo was taken. 

Here's a hint: this trail is higher at either end than it is in the middle.  The photo was taken at the high point near one end of the trail.

Would that be the Dickey Creek trail, somewhere after the creek crossing?  Maybe somewhere at the foot of Big Slide Mtn?

No. This trail doesn't follow a creek.
