Foggy and soggy is my favorite time in the woods...alone...very peaceful

I agree with Karl, besides in this neck of the woods, that makes  for 8-9 months of the year for hiking. It seems a waste to reserve your hiking to the 3-4 dry months that we have, but so be it, it leaves the woods that much more enjoyable for those who like solitude. I find it is alot easier to locate abandoned trails when the leaves are off the brush and that faint tread seems to standout a little more.
