You can quit going south now Bob and head East at least 5 miles. The picture was taken during a pleasure hike last summer. I actually go on a hike every once in awhile that doesn't entail working on a trail, but they are few in number. I went on one yesterday, not wanting to waste a perfectly good sunny warm day and hiked on a abandoned trail above the upper Clackamas.

I wonder if it is near where a pair of large cats convinced my wife to never ever set foot in the woods again.

It looks like the view of Jefferson from the Mother Lode Trail not far from the junction with the Pansy Lake Trail, as you head up to Bull of the Woods.

Which trail are we talking about, the trail in question that I hiked last summer, or the one I hiked on yesterday? Neither one.

Matt, that would be correct. The view is looking down Mother Lode Creek to the SE towards Mt Jefferson from the Mother Lode Trail #558.
Your turn to post one.
