Did these trails this weekend. The road to the TH was in great shape. The trail itself was in good shape. It is starting to get crowded with growth and there were a few blow downs but nothing significant. At about the .80 mile mark we ran into a field of snow. It was very hard to find the trail, but thanks to the power of GPS we were able to get reconnected. We were not the first hikers to attempt the trail to Thunder Mountain this year - we saw one other set of boot prints in the snow. There was still a bit of snow at the summit - the views were great! The trek to Skookum was pretty much uneventful - a couple blow downs, some nice views, a bit of snow and millions of ants. Skookum still had some snow and the bugs were just starting to pick up.
