The fire grew quite a bit yesterday on the west side. It looks like it burned around Hillockburn Spring.

The "Gipper" is burned.

It looks like the fire is headed towards the Hillockburn trail now. 

I think there are a lot more historical/interesting artifacts that got burned - more than just the Gipper....

Sounds like the weather is taking a turn today - cooler, wetter and sounds like we are going to get some real rain this week.  Maybe that will be enough to put this fire to rest.  We can hope.

I'm sure glad I got to explore those areas before they were burned.

I was really hoping it would miss that trail sign, alas... Glad I seen the SF before it burnt
