I'll file this hike in the Once in a Lifetime, But Really Enjoyed It file. We started at the PCT Trailhead in Olallie (near the guard station). Hiked to Cigar Lake and then up to the peaks. The hike along the PCT to Cigar was typical Olallie - beautiful & well maintained. The hike up to Double Peaks (.7 miles and 600 ft elevation gain) was about as tough as expected - a few blow downs and some super steep sections. The forest service write up mentions a bench about half way up. It's either missing or we missed it. Either way, the views were worth the effort!

I've only been up that trail once - it was a bit rough, but you are right, the views are definitely worth it.
Thanks for posting it!
