Dickey Creek or other BOW trails

Does anyone know if any of the Bull of the Woods trails are accessible yet and hikable? I would like to do a trip up there on Memorial Day weekend and be able to hike about 5-10 miles each day. I know it's pretty early in the year to hike BOW, but am just wondering if anyone has tried recently and what they encountered? Last year my boyfriend and I hiked in the Bagby trail on Memorial Day weekend but could only get in about 6 miles before there was too much snow.

Thanks!

Sarah

Doubtful, that is pretty high country.  Think it's going to be another month or 2.

I went up Dickey Creek up to the creek crossing back in Feb, but that was before all the lower level snow we had.  At that time, the trail was esentially clear, with only a couple of spots of snow at about 3000', but I'm guessing that things are different now.

FYI, I happened to see this post on the Portland Hikers site about someone doing the North end of the Elk Lake Creek trail recently.
