My friend and I hiked Cripple Creek to celebrate the first day of spring. The trail was in good shape, only a tree or two over the trail. There was no snow until the top, where there were only a few patches in the shade. We had lunch on the rocks with a great view of the gorge. I'm glad we went then, because only a few days later the snow level dropped and snowed on the trail. My friend took pictures but I'm not good enough with the computer to get them here. I will learn, then there will be photo's.
