Had a couple of days off after Christmas, so decided to go up and play in the snow for a little while today.
If you go during the week, be prepared for waits on 224. They appear to be starting the rock fall remediation - or maybe they are just cleaning up from recent storms. There were a lot of downed trees, and there were two sections between MP 31 and 37 where they were doing work - we had to wait 15-20 mins both ways.
The snow level is probably a little over 1100' right now - we got to about 1700' and had probably 6" of snow on the ground. There is a little snow in Ripplebrook (2-3" maybe), but the roads were clear.
Beautiful day.
