Maybe this is old news, but Google has updated their sat maps to show the fire scars in Bull of th Woods:

Google's 2013 imagery of the upper Clackamas was very good quality.
Earlier this year, the US government lifted its ban on ultra-high resolution satellite imagery. It may get even better soon
