Great posting Brian. Almost looked like the exact conditions I had when I hiked in there 3-4 years ago during the spring. It kooks like the lower beaver dam has been moved back away from the road for it used to be covered in water.

I remember in 2003 the road was the dam, and we did see a beaver on that trip.

This last fall, the gate was open and we drove all the way to the beaver dam, I didn't check it on Saturday.
