I went up to Hawk Mtn today and cutout the 2 logs that were across the trail below the spring. There were a few smaller logs out towards the trailhead that I just threw off the trail. I don't know the condition of the trail to the north, I didn't see anyone on the trail today.

It looks good on the north and west sides, but there is some peeling on the east and south sides, probably due to snow or exposure. I will include photos. On Aug 1st, I hiked in to see if anyone had cleared the trail out to the road, and they hadn't. So I threw off what I could and came back this last Sunday and cut the 2 logs nears the spring with my crosscut.
Weird seeing a building up there. Shouldn't it be a melted blob of metal, glass and old rusty nails?
