The national weather service services that are used to retrieve the pinpoint forecasts are having issues. There is no ETA on a fix but they may work intermittently but they seem to be mostly failing.
I will post a follow up when I find out when they are fixed.

It appears as though the issues with the pinpoint forecasts are (mostly) resolved. If you get an error, typically trying it again will result in success.
