You could do both, but maybe keep the pinpoints down to 5 locations. It would give you a good general idea of what to expect in each part of the district. The weather does vary quite a bit from west to east, and it would be interesting to see it all in one place.
Anyway just my 10 cents! It's also pretty easy to click onto the NWS map, but that just shows you the weather for that pinpoint.

We're very fortunate to have that weather station at Wanderer's peak. Nothing like getting the exact conditions before you've even left the house

It looks like that is showing snotel data - it doesn't show Wanderer's peak. But it is a different format than the snotel data I've seen in the past.
