I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. When I try to access the Clackamas Advocates site, more often then not I get a DNS error message - site not available. I would say that nine out of ten tries results in this message. I'm using Internet Explorer 7, and I have no problem accessing other sites that I use frequently. I don't understand why this occurs with the Advocates site. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!
I agree with you. It's irrirating.
It's kinda Third World, but, here's the deal -- it's free.
Rob might have a solution.
I haven't found a solution other than hitting "reload" a couple of times, and failing that, waiting a little while, and then it works. I've never been able to figure out exactly what the problem is, but I only have so much control over things here.
Free is a very good price.....
Thanks for the replies. At least I know that I'm not the only one with this problem. I'll just keep plugging along. Whatever its faults, I do appreciate this website and all the information that's available on it. Thanks, Donovan and Rob, and whoever else might have a hand in this, for making this website and this forum possible.
If anyone is still seeing these kinds of errors, please let me know. We have moved the site to a new server, and it should hopefully be more reliable. These kinds of errors are to be expected occasionally, but it was frequent before. We shouldn't be seeing them.
