I came across this obituary in the Oregonian tonight which states that Lake Lenore in the Bull of the Woods is named for this person. It's worth taking a look at just to read the first sentence.

Thank you for posting this Doug.
I believe she was the bookkeeper at Oak Grove Ranger Station.
