I went up this trail yesterday - it was an extremely wet day, but we got to see a pretty good display of white iris blooming.  I'm not sure if it is the peak, but it is close.

The lower trailhead is difficult to find and the trail is very brushy and tough to follow in spots, so if you aren't comfortable navigating faint trails, I wouldn't recommend it.  If you are, now is a good time to go take a look - the photo doesn't do it justice at all:
